  Average frankly and pricey for that mediocrity. Fish of the day monkfish in a small pool of water on my plate. Brownie with soft centre just really dry and also spray cream on dessert plates. Steaks looked good, tasted pepper sauce and just tasted like gravy, not even a peppercorn in it. Mash as a side, watery and unseasoned. Maybe an off night but didn't think it was great

  Went as a group of 6. All good, very tasty food. Not overly expensive for 6 either. Few small things....there was no bread left at the table while everyone awaited starters. 2 people had soup....their bread arrived after they'd finished the soup! No knife for buttering bread. During main course, we had to ask for another knife, and correct cutlery for using on 3 portions of mussels. We all waited 30 mins between Main and dessert. I ordered...ice cream. It was a bit busy, but don't know if I'd go again. Lovely food, decent enough staff. Floor manager is a nice guy too. Had some banter afterwards RE the missing bread. But something about the place was missing for me.
