  Derek is very professional and thorough. You get a sense of him looking out for individual needs and his advice is tailored to you. He is supremely efficient without being full on so the balance of looking after you is right! He is very personable which makes it easy to discuss financial concerns and have frank, sometimes awkward discussions. I would highly recommend for financial advice.

  Firstly, top marks to Derek for uncovering this customer focused product, our initial session was planned for 30 minutes, 90 minutes later and I'm really well informed and ready to take action. I would highly recommend. Since our session, my focus is on retiring early, my mindset has completely changed when it comes to making financial decisions.   Over the last 10 years I've used Derek for numerous financial dealings including mortgage protection and life insurance. He has always managed to get me a fantastic deal, better than I could have hoped to get myself. A few years ago I needed to invest a lump sum from an old company pension scheme and went to Derek for advise. After working through all the options with Derek I choose a new investment portfolio and three years later I'm more than happy with the results. At least twice a year I meet with Derek and he updates me on the performance of my portfolio and offers advise regarding the current market trends and potential investment changes I could consider.   As a woman in her 30's I used to think planning for retirement was something that wouldn't be on my radar for a very long time. But with an unexpected career change, which involved making decisions about my Occupational Pension Scheme, made me face the whole pension issue head on. When I meet with Derek he explained all my options in understandable terms and actually managed to make it interesting.
