  Cute B&B! The location was perfect and the people were extremely kind and friendly. I wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

  Sharon was wonderful, helpful with night life recommendations, amazing breakfast and location was amazing for being close to the airport! Highly recommended.

  Me and a girlfriend recently stayed at this place on our last night in Ireland and we did not have a good experience whatsoever. We had a 3 Hour Drive to get there and while on way I received and email from the owner stating I need to get there in time I will be able to check in. I had already dealt with this lady bring a little cold and kind of nasty and her emails prior to the trip and against my better judgment I decided to go with it anyway. When we arrived at 7 PM her husband checked us in. We weren’t given a small room that look nothing like the room I had seen online. We got ready and immediately went out, when we were turned and got ready for bed we realize how freezing cold the room was.. we ended up having to sleep in the freezing cold which was very uncomfortable if you can imagine. The next morning when we both took a shower and both of us had a miserable time because the water was either scolding hot or scolding cold, no middle ground. The toilet also did not flush properly so you can imagine how all this is a huge inconvenience after One uses the bathroom. We gave a specific time at 9:30 to have a breakfast ready in the morning we got a knock on the door at 9:30 and when we arrive to the table she hadn’t even begun cooking yet, this made us late for some of our activities during the day. I was so upset that I barely spoke a word to her but my girlfriend was friendly with her as we were saying our goodbyes. I left a review on great value vacation and the owner of responded and basically said everything that I said was a lie and never once apologized! She sent me an email before she responded that said completely different things than what her response was on the review site which it’s very frustrating since I could not reply to her reply I do not recommend this bed-and-breakfast whatsoever. It was not a good experience at all, especially considering the lies told after. In email she claims my girlfriend told her it was the best experience and best bed-and-breakfast we stayed at However, on the reply to great value vacation she claims I said this.. completely false!

  I can’t rate this B&B enough! Great location, great rooms, great hosts. Sharron was a lovely host who catered to our every needs, very polite and a great chef! The breakfast she cooked was 5*. Can’t thank Sharron enough for her great hospitality, she had everything covered to breakfast being in our rooms as we departed due to an early flight, to her giving me extra towels so I could colour my hair. Mr Biggles also the B&B’s residents cat who joined me in my room several nights for cuddles was the best company. I would highly recommend this B&B and will 100% be returning next time I go over! Xx

  If Mr. Biggles were the host, our experience would have been so much more positive. Definitely located in a great part of town. Able to walk to the main part of Sword's to enjoy sight seeing (Sword's Castle), fine food (The Old Schoolhouse Restaurant & Pub was amazing!), as well as several other pubs. Also, breakfast was delicious. I have given this B&B a 3* rating because of the lack of warmth from our hostess. We had arrived early (11 AM) for check in after our flight from the States and she simply gave us our keys and told us our room number, then telling us to come back after 2 PM.She didn't even offer us a chance to get refreshed or to use the facilities. Mr. Biggles, the cat, greeted us when we arrived back after dinner. He followed us upstairs and joined us in our room for a cuddle and play. Ten minutes later, our hostess hunted him down, scolding us because he is not allowed on the beds. She said it was "time to lock him up." Our 10th Anniversary was today, which I made her aware of at the time of booking, and she gave us no regard. We weren't allowed on the patio, where she had a lovely garden, because "it's slippery in the Autumn. We were running five minutes late upon check out, and she noted and remarked about that. It appears to me that she runs a B&B for the income, not the people she opens her home to.
