Some really interesting exhibitions here and probably the best coffee in Tallaght. A great resource for the community.

Good contemporary art gallery and cafe. Was disappointed that the recent Franko B exhibition had not been accessibility proofed. Quite exclusive and a disabling environment for people with mobility problems - most disappointing from a publicly funded Arts centre and an artist whose works can be about marginalisation. Accessible parking is a problem too. RUA RED could be a great destination but let's itself down on accessibility.

There is always something interesting happening. Lots of activities for children and adults to attend. Music. Dance. Art. The gallery displays fantastic exhibitions. Love the posters.

Rua Red centre hosts a programme of events aimed at all members of the community both nationally and internationally. Overlooking the Tallaght Luas Stop, RUA RED is committed to providing a diverse and innovative arts programme. This multi-purpose arts centre aims to be a unique driver for wide public access to the arts.ย  It was officially opened on February 5th 2009, by Mayor Marie Corr, after a โ‚ฌ10 million investment. The centre is the most recent addition to Tallaghtโ€™s emerging cultural quarter. The centre is run by South Dublin Arts Centre Company who strive to attract attention and respect from across Ireland.
