  Spent two very enjoyable nights here recently. Very friendly and helpful staff throughout hotel. Great menu and the food served in the restaurant was superb on both evenings. The breakfasts were also of the highest standard and the bar had a wide range of drinks. Our room was spotless with very comfortable bed and bathroom with bath and spacious shower and some very nice touches including extractor in shower that prevented mirrors from steaming up. The shared areas were furnished with comfort in mind and there was also a Spa and swimming pool with Jacuzzi steam room etc. It is set in 300 acres with a great golf course and other facilities including a very pleasant 2500 metre walk, for the less energetic, through gardens and forested areas with views of golf course and lake. Our first time here but hopefully not our last as we were delighted with our stay.

  I have stayed here for 3 night for work purposes. I can safely say that the policy of this hotel is elegance and good taste . From far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The facilities are great ,the food is at high standards and the service is excellent. Highly recommended .

  Beautiful Hotel. The grounds are fabulous, the superior rooms and suites are amazing. Spotless and comfortable. Lots of room. The food is exceptional and the pool is lovely and warm and very clean. Staff are professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

  Fantastic experience. Restaurant top notch. Staff excellent and more than helpful. A really comfortable clean and elegant hotel in the beautiful countryside of Cavan. A real gem.

  What a lovely hotel. We had a great night with some lovely wine and good music in the bar. Unfortunately the food in the restaurant was a bit of a let down with both my starter and main courses being only slightly warm and I wouldn't be a person who needs a piping hot meal, but it was on the cold side even for me. The breakfast the following morning was all lovely though although the coffee and toast only arrived when we were finished. Overall though the surroundings were worth the trip and it was quite lively despite it being the week after new year.
