  Be aware that if you have a problem with your console after 30 days Smyths will insist that this cannot be remedied in store. As advised by the CCPC this is not in line with your statutory rights. I will not be buying a console from Smyths again for this reason. I will be following this up with Smyths HO, and with the Small Claims Court if necessary. Please be aware of this before you purchase from Smyths.

  Got to Naas store at 9pm .. no trolleys available, very little staff and obviously reduced stock. Queues were very long and only 2 on the till. Staff members said they were under staffed! If u advertise late night opening there should be sufficient staff and stock.

  Smyths have recently moved back to their original premises. It is all ground level with plenty of space between isles so very accessible for everyone. Each isle is clearly posted for which stock you can find so if you are looking for an item in particular it is very easy to find. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and staff in the baby area for car seats are trained in how to install them correctly. They have late extended opening hours at Christmas which makes it a great advantage for working customers or those who want to go at a quiter time. Very small negative is that there are a small amount of tills so if you go at peak time be prepared to que!
