  SOUTHDOC IS A JOKE 😠 So after taken Axel up to southdoc on New Years Eve the day before we left for Australia because he had a high temperature, runny nose, very bad cough and wouldn't feed for more than 2 mins and after paying $60 euros my i add. The doctor at southdoc checked hes breathing with hes stethoscope, he told us he's chest was fine and that hes throat was inflamed so he prescribed Panadol and Nurofen two medications which you can buy over the counter that we were given him for 3 days before we decided that it was time to bring him to the doctor as hes condition was getting worse. So after travelling from Dublin to Dubai and onto Sydney which is a 23hr journey with a very sick little boy we decided to get him checked by a doctor here, after the docter took one look at him he knew he was very sick so he checked him over said that he has a very bad case of bronchiolitis and prescribed a steroid and an antibiotics and even told us that if he gets any worse tonight to bring him into the Hospital which they would put him on a machine to help with his breathing. The doctor here in Australia couldn't belive that the doctor in ireland could let a sick child just walk out of hes office with Panadol and Nurofen. This shows how far behind ireland is with there healthcare system. The same day my brother and hes fiance brought up there little girl which she had similar conditions, they were told that she had Croup so they got prescribed steroids to help with the infection. After there own doctor started back working after the new year they brought Ruby back to get checked because she wasn't getting any better, after seeing the doctor they were told that the Docter at southdoc had given her the wrong steroids and that she didn't have Croup that she actually only had a bad chest infection so they were prescribed the right antibiotics for her infection.
