::I always prefer calling a local florist directly when I need to order flowers long distance. We live in California and had to order a sympathy arrangement for a funeral in Ireland. We found Southgate Florist's website and placed an online order. Within the hour, Virginia (I presume the owner) replied via email (at 10pm her time, afternoon for us!). She was familiar with the undertaker, church etc and took care of everything. My sister in law, who attended the service, said the arrangement was gorgeous (she is a horticulturalist). Highly recommend Southgate Florist in Drogheda, they provide professional prompt service and beautiful floral arrangements at reasonable prices.
