  I only stopped in for a coffee but the staff member was very friendly and helpful. The coffee was a lovely and the toilet facilities were bright and clean.

  We came 4 times in 4 days. Loved it. Great food, atmosphere and helpful staff. Family friendly.

  Limited menu of bland pub food. My (alleged) haddock in batter was tasteless. A picturesque, large pub with a dining area which overlooks the scenic river and ancient bridge. If you are hungry and you want to meet a friend for lunch it will do.

  3.5 stars - for food as it's nice 1.0 stars - to staff that work on the weekends. Not paying attention to customers (waiting 25 minutes for the order to be taken), they gather into chatting groups of 3 or 4 and wonder around hiding behind pillars and corners. It seems that there are around 5 to 8 of them on the floor, but you never really see them when you need them. This is my experience every time I go there with my wife to have some food on Sat/Sun. We have stopped going there, since we heard staff member offering a tourist Heineken when he asked for an Irish beer other than Guinness. I’m just disappointed with lack of professionalism and dedication of the floor staff! michal
