  Staff are excellent 5 stars but food was very much like cheap bar food. I ordered a Club Sandwich and the bread was the cheapest white slice pan bread you can get and then the rest of the filling was cold as they had not toasted it correctly. Have to say it was the worst Club Sandwich I have every got. My friend got the Fish and Chips and that did not look appealing either. It looked like Rotten frozen fish and chips. The staff were excellent but we did have to wait 15 mins to be noticed and order taken. We had gone in at about 2.30 on Saturday so not too busy a time. Maybe it was just a bad day in the pub or the chef had been sick !!!!

  Great local, staff really take care of you. Good for a low key relaxing drink. Very good food, all freshly prepared.

  Lovely friendly pub, great food and great service. Had evening meal with my daughter and grandson ; food was excellent and our waitress was a big hit with my grandson. Will definitely be back!
