  He wouldn't allow a young teenager a refund after 2 working days even though the guitar was not in anyway damaged nor did he even inspect it to see if it was. I wouldn't return or recommend.

  The place has a friendly atmosphere with instruments suitable for all kinds of budgets. Also Tony provides a very healthy and an honesty regarding what kind of instruments are suitable for your requirements. Additionally, he provides a really good repair service and I have found him to be very courteous, honest when dealing with him at all times I have visited The Guitar Shop'. I would highly recommend this place of you are on the lookout for an instrument or need to get your instrument repaired.

  Called into this shop with my 12 year in tow. She was in the market to upgrade her beginner guitar (bought from another music shop in Cork - never again!). Tony was informative and encouraging to both of us. I can't speak highly enough of his direct approach. He told me where my assumptions were incorrect and put my daughter onto a beautiful guitar for her budget. He did his best with the old beginner guitar (did I say never again??) to help it sound a wee bit better for child #2. Needless to say I will tell everyone I meet if you are looking for a knowledgeable approach to guitars and a very sound guy, Tony at the Guitar Shop is your man.
