::My Father was in A&E on Wednesday the 3/01/2018. He had the best care that could be given in the grand scheme of things. The nurses went out of their way to help my father in a bad situation. I will not let anyone say anything bad about the nurses and doctors in the Mater hospital. Itβs the main hospital in the north inner city and all that comes with that. So from the son of a patient who needed help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The few help the many. Thank you.

::If I could give it no stars I would. The waiting times in A&E are easily 12 hours to get seen by a doctor never mind treatment. We had to leave and go to another hospital the poor patient was so delirious from exhaustion and pain after sitting in a freezing cold waiting room. Criminally understaffed. This place made the patient worse. Avoid at all costs!!!

::Have to say was not looking forward to having to bring my daughter here with a suspected broken ankle, but I couldn't have been more wrong. She was given excellent treatment from the registration right through to being discharged. I can't praise the staff enough they do amazing work.

::Too bad I can't give 0 stars. I've been here multiple times unfortunately. I've waited for several hours (around 7) on a non busy day. They take you up front to sign you in just to take 100 euro off you. Then you are left waiting forever. Asking people around for some information will get you nowhere. If it's not your turn they don't care. Please don't go there

::βββββWarning β οΈ donβt go there !βββββ- I would to thank for the professional devoted to help their patients. I would to tell how cruel is Ireland health system. You donβt have enough you are nothing. I came 6 months ago for sprained ankle. I was waiting for almost 20h before to see a doctor. I am still cannot run and still limping. I love sports, I dedicated my life for that and I became 2 years ago personal trainer. What a shame ! How can you accept this system !? βββββ-Warning β οΈ donβt go there !ββββββ
