  Top class Pilates Instructor. Alison's knowledge and experience really shines through in her classes. She gently yet motivationally encourages you to reach your full potential no matter what level you are working at. I really enjoy Pilates and Alison makes sure you are always learning new positions and techniques so I never get bored and I am always advancing and learning.

  I have been attending The Pilates Studio for the past five years, I started with babybump classes and continued with regular classes between and post my two pregnancies. Pilates is one of the few forms of exercise that I continue to enjoy and look forward to every week. It has given me results I have not seen from yoga, running or regular gym work. Pilates is a fantastic form of exercise but is it Alison’s teaching technique that is the unique selling point of the Pilates Studio. Her direction is clear and caters for all level of abilities within the class. The classes are pacy and challenging and the content is never predictable so you never get bored! I can not recommend the Pilates Studio highly enough!

  I am currently attending Alison’s babybumps series & have been since early pregnancy. I quickly realized that there was far more to gain from the class than physical benefits. Alison’s knowledge of pregnancy, birth & beyond is remarkable & no question is off limits! I leave the class every week feeling empowered & positive & ready for a good sleep! I would highly recommend her classes to anyone.

  Alison is super. Found the pregnancy Pilates a fantastic help throughout the pregnancy. Also made great friends. The simple tips and useful info sessions were so valuable in labour. I am continuing with mama lates and really enjoying that too. It's good for the body and soul, a must do in my opinion for all expectant mothers. Wouldn't be without my yoga ball now.

  I joined Alison’s baby bumps class during my pregnancy so that I could improve on my fitness! Alison’s class did not disappoint and it turned out to be so much more rewarding. Alison not only prepares you physically but she also touches on the emotional and psychological aspects of labour. She shares her experiences and her knowledge with the class and you leave feeling fantastic!!
