Awful place. Waited 4 hours and no Doctor saw us. If you get sick in Ireland, find a different place to go to.

Very bad service. People waiting for the queue 24 hours. Iwas in a hospital 22.00 to doctor I got 6.30. The doctor came to me asking questions. He listened to me, through my T-short, when I wanted to raise it, he was embarrassed. Then another doctor came in and asked the same questions. Which I have already answered 3 times. Such a big city as Limerick, the hospital is working non-professional - a ''snails'' are definitely not for a little money. The final gave me a medicine for my tummy, although I did not complain about it at all. The Irish people are so upbeat, resolutely why is so big mess is in a hospital? Do not understand. I believe that people should be sued at the Ministry of Health.

Our daughter had difficulty breathing and took her to the pediatric emergency department. Despite being Scottish and on holiday we were checked in quickly and seen within 10 minutes. We were taken from triage directly into the ward and given a private room where we received excellent care from our doctor and nurses. Everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and provided us with excellent care, I really couldn't fault it. We left a few hours later with our daughter feeling much better. Can't thank the team enough.

My cousin was a new born baby and was very sick she had a chest problem and the hospital told us it was just something that happens to all baby’s at this time of year. Despite my cousin telling them time and time again there was something wrong with her baby they refused to agree. So my uncle suggested we brought her to a hospital in Dublin so my cousin drove up and as soon as she explained the situation to the doctors they rushed her in for tests and surgery right away, the hospital in Dublin couldn’t get over the fact that university hospital treated us like that and we were told that if she had been left without treatment any longer she would’ve died.
