  My boyfriend and I stayed at the Viewmount during a recent trip to Ireland, and it was definitely a highlight of the trip. One of the things we prized most about our trip was getting to know the locals and talking to them about their experiences and the area. Our host was informative, totally charming, and helped us spend a wonderful day in Kilkenny. He was even gracious when we accidentally overslept the next morning through breakfast, and reheated the food for us once we stumbled out of bed an hour late due to jet lag. In short: comfortable home, great host. Will definitely stop back if we are ever lucky enough to be in Kilkenny again!
