  I live near Wexford and I really like it. It's main street is old but offers new too. If you need an extra jacket or want a pretty scarf try Oxford and help someone too. Some great stores - Westgate design which has a wonderful store, great salads all you can fit in a box and delicious full restaurant downstairs. Also Carraig Donn. Lots of great pubs too, plays and entertainment and festivals all year. Castles and old churches. Best banks to use a foreign card were AIB and Ulster when I last checked. Wexford is a bus and train center. Busses in Ireland offer a great way to travel. There is a local Wexford bus too. Enjoy.
