  A great, eccentric, little museum. Lots of wonderful artifacts and curiosities. Inside can be a little cramped depending on how many people are inside but it's well worth a visit. The staff there are very friendly and lovely to chat with. There's also a nice view of Howth Pier outside. Be aware the museum is up on a hill which some may find steep and to watch your head entering!

  A hidden gem and Aladdin's Cave. Full of memorabilia from the history of telecommunications.

  Almost certain to be the most eccentric delight of any visit to greater Dublin, this museum -- one man's obsession with wireless (and telegraph wire) communication since Marconi -- is well worth a stop if you've taken the train to Howth to walk the cliffs and sample the delicious seafood. You're guaranteed a personal tour of the antique radios, TVs, testing and transmitting gear, neon signs and the like, a tour given by the collector himself or his son. Don't miss it!
