::Had a great time staying here on the way through Connemara with friends on a cycling trip. Stunning setting, really friendly staff and beautiful menu. Will come back again with my wife, was almost too nice and romantic to be there with a few of the boys 😂

::My room at the Ardagh Hotel was lovely. As a single, I had a very large room with a king-size bed, and a sitting area. The tea and coffee that was in the room when we checked in was a pleasant surprise. I was on a small-group tour and was pleasantly surprised with the superb accommodations. Our two dinners were exceptional. Everything possible was locally procured. The mussels (which I didn't think I liked were the highlight). The salmon and cod were also exceptional. Anyone that would like a little quiet stay from the cities and towns ,will most certainly enjoy their stay at Ardagh Hotel.
