  A beautiful hidden native woodland that is rented and managed by Native Woodland Trust of Ireland. Since the Street View pic, that I am looking at, the entrance has been cleared to reveal a beautiful stairway into the woods. Native Woodland Trust have also opened up modest low impact trails through this native woodland on an esker. There are also good information signs around the wood informing about the different tree species and local wildlife. The wood takes on a U shape. Unfortunately, about a third of the wood is close to the M6 so it's ambience is taken away, but a large section of the wood is away from the motorway that cannot be heard, and is very peaceful.
