A lot of space for park your car so no worries about that, designated area for barbecue , big playground for kids with soft mates on the ground and nice long walk around the castle with access to the beach side !!! Lovely place highly recommended for everyone

::Ardgillan is a lovely place to visit, beautiful place to spend the day walking. We absolutely love paws cafe, great to have a cosy cafe you can sit inside with your dog đ¶ by the fire. This is a must go place to visit, great for all ages

::It's a lovely castle house, with wonderful views down to the sea, but so much more could, and should be done with this place. Quite disappointing, in that regard. Also, the staff hoovered around us while we were having our tea and cake, which is literally the only time I've seen anything like this. Very, very odd.

::First time visitors. Got a great tour by a fantastically enthusiastic historian, had tea and cake before going home. Enjoyed a walk through the gardens. Will absolutely return when bedrooms are opened and will bring the kids to avail of what looks like a fantastic playground. Spotted a dog friendly cafe also so would imagine the is great for people walking dogs.
