  A convenient hotel with great character to stop for a meal or refreshment on your journey. Meet with locals, book a room, try the lunch or evening menu, check out the meeting rooms ... a touch of old-fashioned character to savour the comfortable facilities. Enjoy.

  Two stars because we managed to get asleep without disturbance which is always a nice surprise in an Irish hotel. Chipped paint in bathroom, toilet seat hanging off and two singles pushed together to make a double. Woke up a bit stiff to be honest. Really dated and no facilities in the room. No breakfast provided for a €110 one night stay in January. Desperate place

  Piping hot ,large portion, great tasting food. Relaxed surrounding. Great service. Six star for my experience. I think the carvery was in around 13 euro. Well worth the visit.
