  Great rooms, worthy of 5 stars Shame about the restaurant food. There seems to have been a change of chefs but still not that good. And a limited menu.

  This hotel I would never stay in again, posting on behalf of my friend and his partner. Hotel staff not helpful or accommodating at all. Hotel just very basic. Definitely not a place I'd book to stay in again.

  Lovely hotel always clean and very friendly staff. Reception area fab and very welcoming. Management very helpful. Restaurant has a great variety of food all amazing. Very central location with easy access to train and bus service to town. Will definitely be back.

  Where to start? When I first stepped into the room it smelled so strong as if a cigarette smoking party was held there before my stay. The heating was left on for several hours before my arrival, the room was so hot like a sauna, and the window only opened 5 cm to get some fresh air, so it took a while before a normal temperature could be reached. But the worst was their staff and the customer care. I traveled alone, but booked a double room as that was the only one available. The room was without breakfast included, but after making the room booking I wrote them that I will also want breakfast, so that they know and are prepared for this. Then they charged my card for 2 person breakfast (instead of 1). Mistakes happen I thought, so I wrote them about this several days before my arrival. They never replied. I asked about this at the reception during both check-in and check-out, but they refused to refund me for their mistake. Never again!

  Mmmm! A good find. We booked this hotel because of the good reviews that had been written on various well known review sites. It was a good choice. Most comfortable rooms and decent all round. No it's not central.... But it is next to a railway station, and only 10 minutes journey into the centre. If you want a good value and a luxury quality room at a good price, and don't mind the trip into the centre, it's highly recommend. Everything was really good... If I had one criticism, maybe it's more of a business hotel, but I would have liked a bit of a welcoming feeling from the staff. A passing hello, good morning or good evening acknowledgement in passing really would have been the icing on the cake.
