  This place was very dirty dresses weren't even steamed and the dress maker was completely rude and snappy very unprofessional I am completely appalled at the experience we've had in this store and her 24 years experience was clearly lacking customer care

  My best friend was very excited to have bought her wedding dress here but sadly it turned into a very negative experience. Overall, very poor service & the dress was not altered properly first time. We lived quite far away and ended up needing to go to an alterer closer to home even though Bridget claimed one alterations visit with her would be enough as "she is the best". I felt that she was very keen to get the sale and basically lied on the first consultation to get it. She also added a surprise cleaning bill at end which was not mentioned in first quote & then gave us back a dress with a mark on it! I would not recommend ever going to aspirations bridal for any big important event as the stress my friend went through was not worth it. She doesn't even provide a dress bag for your wedding dress...at the point of leaving the shop with the dress she wanted another £25 for a dress bag! A really poor service. All about the money & doesn't care once she gets it. Would not recommend.

  A truly awful experience, bought a dress and left it with owner Bridget to be altered. I received it back with a black permanent marker stain on the front. Bridget did not care very much and told me I'd need to pay to have it cleaned in the cleaning shop next door. After a costly cleaning it still was not clean. Stain not removed, dirt under buttons etc, very poor job. On top of that, the alterations job that Bridget did was not very good. I could tell it did not feel right and I had to get it looked at by another fitter. It was not done properly, middle band made too small, it was taken in different lengths on right and left side, lace was bunching and not sitting properly, the back was torn at the zip, when buttoned at back, the buttons were in a crooked line....Such a shame as the dress was originally a nice one. I ended up having to buy a second wedding dress as this dress ended up a disaster. The whole experience upset me greatly. On telling owner, she refused any refund and didn't care. Very poor service.

  I made an appointment with Aspirations Bridal And Evening Wear on Dame Lane beside Excel Dry Cleaners. Staff are very welcoming and exceptionally professional at sales and fittings. They have a great insight into styles, shapes and alterations. I was very impressed with the wide variety of dresses they have. I would highly recommend Aspirations Bridal And Evening Wear to anyone looking for a wedding dress, evening dress or debs dress.

  This is a small Boutique that has been around for years. The owner really knows her stuff and we felt really well advised and looked after. She gave us detailed information on the time line from ordering to alterations and we were assured of her personal service as she does the alterations and fittings herself. She was really fantastic with my daughter. She listened very well and also had a really good eye for what suits her. My daughter tried on about five gowns. They were all very beautiful pieces. There was of course " the dress ". We were given all the information on it and there was absolutely no pressure at all to place an order. She wrote everything down for us and from start to finish it was a wonderful experience. We had a couple of nightmares previously ! I would recommend this Boutique highly if what you are looking for is some really professional advice and service....and of course beautiful Gowns!
