  Ballintubber Abbey is a beautiful place. It's a credit to the parish and its past generations who have conserved and developed the site. Is cuid lárnach d'ár n-oidhreacht shaibhir é agus tá muintir an cheantair mórtasach as agus an ceart ar fad acu.

  Wonderful abbey and grounds. Highly recommended the little crib if it is open to learn the story of how Robins got their red breast. Also the two walks around the abbey lined with stone carvings and wood sculptures are definitely a sight to see. Inside the abbey is very calm and peaceful with fantastic stained glass windows!

  Beautiful simple Abbey, enjoyed our time here. Lovely walk around the Abbey. Steeped in history. Very spiritual experience. Lovely adoration chapel to spend quiet reflection time with the Lord. Was a wedding there , so beautiful a setting. No down side
