::Usually poor service, some real smiles are missing too.

::When the bank opens there are not enough staff at the counter to deal with people quickly and efficiently. People should not have to wait so long to be served. There are some very helpful members of staff and some quite simply atrocious. It depends on luck. and who you get. More and more the poor old customer is being encouraged outside to their machines. If I wanted a machine I would have gone to one.! It seems to be a novelty these days to actually get to talk to a human being! On the phone it's " press this button if you want that and that button if you want the other". It's a pity they haven't a button to erase all of their options. Seriously what's wrong with speaking to a person face to face or on the phone. Customer care ? What customer care?

::Poor! Some very poor staff and some great staff, the luck of the draw. Had great difficulty getting a bank statement today. "We can print you statement" in my own branch.....lots of discussion and finally got one only because I had to have a meeting with a mortgage broker! Go to AIB across the square, friendly and helpful all the time!

::Queues can be long, but very good services and lots of ATMs.
