  Simon Hill account holder: So, I have an account at Bank of Ireland Clifden, Connemara. I phoned the branch number that is posted on the Clifden branch website after going through the usual bank of Ireland 12 option menu only to discover by accident the operator was from customer services, and was not located at the Clifden branch. I had to tell her why I wanted to speak with a member of the Clifden branch staff, and she attempted to put me in touch with some-one else not connected to Clifden. This B of I phone service is by far the worst i have encountered anywhere, and most certainly does not put a person in good humour when they do eventually get through

  Appalling customer services lately at BOI Clifden. We were asked to come in only on a Tuesday in order to withdraw cash from our savings account but when we arrived to the bank on tuesday cashier told us that cash could not be withdrawn as the till was closed ? Would not recommend banking here!
