  Could not fault the beautifully peaceful trip up the canal in the barge. If you wanted to sit and talk to the pilot, he was very accommodating and talkative and entertaining. If you just wanted to lie back and take in the beautiful scenery, you could do that at the front of the boat. Admittedly we were blessed with a beautiful day. Not sure how much fun it would be with the rain beating down outside! Best check the weather forecast first?

  A great way to spend an hour. Ger is very knowledgable about the history of the canal and the surrounding areas and great with kids too. We had great fun on board and stopping to test our strength on the aqueduct too. I'd deffinatly recommend taking a trip. My kids reckon it's better than the zoo and I'd have to agree.

  Went on a trip a few weeks back. What a lovely way to spend a morning, very informative perfect for two history buffs like us. Highly recommend. I do apologise as my review seems to have gone up as a one star originally, I don't know why, because I give full marks

  Very pleasurable barge trip, very well presented and maintained barge, unexpectedly saw a turtle.
