::A regular coffeeshop. But, and it's a big one, it has individual charm in buckets. It's not an Insomnia or Starbucks, and is so much better for it. Dublin needs more of these unashamed, plain old, garden variety coffeeshops! Lovely.

::Excellent, friendly service. The food was delicious and the cafe, extremely clean-Dutch clean-squeaky clean! For those of you familiar with many of the eateries in Dublin, you know what I mean. The Irish breakfast I ordered was the best I had on my trip. The coffee and scone my wife had were delicious! Bittersweet is cosy, and inviting. A great place to stop for a bite. We were not rushed and made to feel - like most of the eateries in Dublin - that you were more like a family member coming in for a meal than just a customer. For those making the walk up from Trinity College or the downtown to visit Christ Church, St. Patricks or Dubinia, it is a great spot to stop and take it all in or on the way back into the heart of the city. One of the most memorable cafes of our trip!

::Nice little coffee shop. Very clean and cozy atmosphere. Food was good and coffee was REALLY good. Staff was very nice. Husband and I stopped in one morning and got a double espresso, an americano, egg in the hole sandwich, and scrambled egg on toast sandwich. All in all a wonderful experience, amazing bacon. Would recommend. Ask for the hot sauce, it’s fire 🔥
