::Had a very bad experience here recently. Was paying for my purchases with my Visa debit card and for some reason it would not work - was declined for no apparent reason. So, decided to pay with my credit card. All good one would assume and off home with me. Not so! !! The following morning I checked my bank account only to discover there were THREE transactions pending for the same purchase One for the Visa debit that didn't work and two on my credit card. That's! ! Three payments for same purchase. I rang the store who advised it was the banks fault. Then, rang the bank and was told it's the store's fault and a regular thing with B&Q. And that the two additional "pending'" payments would be lifted in about ten days . TEN days !!! For B&Q to have the use of my money and ten days for me not to have the use of it - disgraceful. I eventually got in touch with their UK office and the two additional pending payments were lifted after a few days. Can't see how this is legal and can't understand how this store feel they have the right to hold pending payments for goods already paid for. It's absolutely appalling treatment of their customers. Needless to say B&Q are no longer included in any future shopping trips.
