  Big doorstep sandwiches made with freshly made bread… Great healthy bowls of soup. Caters for canivores and vegetarians. Seating area caters for 25 people approx (mostly in configurations of 2 seats to a table). Small toilet facility too. Premises is not suitable for the less able (wheelchairs, etc) due to steps at the entrance and the narrow entrance to the toilet. It does have 1 highchair available for customers.

  Very tasty toasts filled with everything (big selection). We were there around 3 pm and most of the shop was already sold out, so in general for pastry, cakes and so on not a big selection left over.

  Very good food. Reasonably priced for large portions and staff are always feiendly. Best bakery in Cork city.

  There ​are many reasons to love Bracken's. Everything is made fresh on the premises and it tastes fresh. The breads are delicious, and I love their brown bread with the seeds in it. I have a sandwich from Bracken's today, and it's a lesson in how to do it right. Just as important, the staff are warm and friendly, and over time they become your friends. A rare place and worth recommending !
