  Chris and I chose Brookeville House for our mini moon last weekend and we are so glad we did. Liam and Dei could not of been more welcoming. Bubbles and a huge box of chocloates, a guest room that Dei had showered with rose petals and a thoughtful welcome and congratulations on your wedding card awaited us. Our room itself had everything we needed, spacious and comfortable, with a queen bed and flat screen tv. The bathroom was lovely, spacious and light with a wonderful powershower. Brookville House itself is conveniently located, with local beauty spots within 20/30 minute drive away. Powerscourt House and gardens and Irelands highest waterfall nearby. Enniskerry village is so beautiful, with pubs and restaurants and tea rooms. Lovely to stroll around and get some beautiful photographs. Liam and Dei could not of done more for us, from ringing and booking restaurant meals, pointing out local attractions, (The Grange Pub is a must, lively atmosphere, bands, tribute acts and friendly people) to cooking us hearty breakfasts. The jacuzzi is absolutely a must! Chris and I booked our one hour private use and upon entering Dei had showered the room with rose petals, a beautiful hand written note and a bowl of strawberries to go with our Presseco. There is a shower, toilet and sauna with a fridge stocked with bottles of water. Plenty of clean towels and robes for your use. I can not recommend Brookville House enough, spotlessly clean and comfortable, bed linen, towels and robes can be changed daily if you wish and tea/cofee/water bottles refilled as often as you need. Liam himself is a character to behold! Highly amusing with many a funny, funny tale to tell, we took to him immediately and felt as though we had known him all our lives. Dei is wonderfully caring, a true lady, such unique, wonderful couple. We will certainly be back. Chris and Lisa Higgins.

  Due to me own stupidity (I lost my house keys), I spent the night at Brookville Guest House. I have to say, it is one of the nicest, cleanest and most friendly places I have been (and I travel a lot). The staff were helpful, friendly and energetic. The facilities are fantastic and the sauna looks sumptuous (sadly I did not avail as I had the clothes on my back). Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would have no trouble in fully recommending Brookville Guest House to anyone and if I lose my house keys again, I know where to go.
