::When in a strange city I look for places the locals eat. In Cafe Sofia the waitresses get everyone with a smile, many by name and chat like they're old friends. You know the food will be good when the atmosphere is so nice and yes, the food was very good.

::Nestled in a corner and dwarfed by the Megabikes motorcycle shop next door, you could easily walk past this place without noticing it. But that would be a real shame. Because Cafe Sofia is one of the best places to enjoy that great Irish culinary tradition. I am of course talking about"the fry" or "the full Irish breakfast". The menu has many permuations of the fry. And if you don't like those , they will change them to suit you. Service is fast, and above all friendly. And if you are not in the mood for a fry, there are other options on the menu. For example they do a very nice club sandwich. And when you have finally finished your delicious breakfast /brunch /lunch, they will give you a complimentary chocolate goldgrain biscuit. Not to be missed.
