::A classic of South County Dublin hiking!
Brian Delaney
::Terrific view from the hilltop, just 20mins walk from the carpark. Great for walking dogs.
Brendan Hayes
::Lots of verity of different trails and a few deer to be seen. Great view from the hill top.
Mark Flattery
::Some nice walks, great views of Dublin. The mine chimney is nice for a quick visit. Be SURE to check the map of where you walk. Paths tend to give you the impression you are walking in the correct direction.. only to end up at a dead end. The signs don't tell you were you are going. It is more of an orienteering walk than a "leisure" walk. There are lots of people around at the weekend to ask the way if lost.

::This is a great walk for a Sunday afternoon with different routes available depending on your energy level. From here you can cut across the headland to the Lead Mines chimney or head south and enjoy a pleasant walk to the bottom of a small hill. There is a path of sorts up to the top but stout footware is recommended. The short climb is definitely worth it with a fantastic 360 degree view of South Dublin/North County Wicklow awaiting you if the weather is good
