  The library is an excellent service for the carrickpherish community and the two schools located on either side. I do my childs homework here, catch up with friends, play games with my children, rent books/dvd and attend excellent talks that the library hold. The staff are excellent and really help the PA of WETNS by providing a space to have our meetings. I understand what the previous poster is talking about, I just think that it is the nature of this library and I'm glad my children have access to it.

  The facilities are very good here but its severely lacking when it comes to the so called peace and quiet that you would expect from a library. My son is in 5th class and we have gone upstairs to do h.w. however its actually impossible to concentrate as the noise from downstairs is unreal.small children running around and shouting as they are allowed to play board games etc. I have two children my self so I know what they are like but this is a library not a childcare service?Upstairs is supposed to be for.children accompanied by adults .However many children are going up alone and again they dont stay quiet. I have been in other libraries and if you so much as raise your.voice you.are given dirty looks. And phone.calls in a library def doesnt happen..why is this.library any different.

  It has an incredible selection of books. The staff at re so nice and helpful. And it is a very welcoming place in general.

  This is a beautiful and modern library. Its bright, airy and even has a roof top garden to relax in with a book and a free coffee!
