  Service with a smile, great food, family friendly. Appreciated the elaborate brunch, lovely dinner experience. Although a great place to enjoy a meal, the ambiance could be enhanced with more attention given to the background music, and an overall warmer decor.

  I stayed at the hotel for two nights while attending a conference nearby. The check in was friendly and efficient. While the exterior of the hotel is beautiful, as are the grounds, the hall and my room were underwhelming. I was traveling alone but the room had a both a king and a twin bed. The room was very clean. Dirty room service dishes were on the floor outside my door in the hall and the hall had an unpleasant smell. Wifi was intermittent. Breakfast was plentiful and the food was good. Front desk staff was extraordinarily pleasant.

  We stayed overnight at the Clayton Hotel to attend a game in the RDS. It was perfect in terms of location, standard and service. The food was amazing and the atmosphere welcoming. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who enjoys good food and service.

  check-in could have been faster. upgraded to exec room on floor 2 which was obviously recently refurbished and spotlessly clean. public areas all clean. lifts very slow, so use stairs. could do with an extra pair of hands on reception. ate in the restaurant and had an excellent steak. breakfast is well appointed.
