  Peaceful, helpful, Enjoyable. Great place for picnics. There's coffee shop, restaurant.

  We were there on sunday. Visitor centre and toilets in car park closed. This was disappointing and inconvenient for us and our 5 kids. We are trust members so nobody about to check our membership didn't matter but there was quite a few people about so the trust may have missed out on some revenue. We walked to the ruined castle and then over to the newer castle. There was no sign of the animals and wildlife mentioned on the website. the rain came on so didn't get to do any other walks. What we did walk was far enough anyway. WEbsite photos were much better than reality in our eyes. We have been to most of the national trust sites but this one was the least impressive.

  One of Fermanagh's best kept secrets. Beautiful location for walking around. The visitor centre has a small, informative museum and tea room. Boat hire is available for exploring the upper Lough.
