::Turners Cross, the home to Cork City Football Club. Those of us who are Cork City fans will all have our fair shares of memories from down the cross. Cork City Football Club are a football team playing in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division (Top division of professional football in Ireland). Cork City play their home leagues, home cup matches and any European matches they are playing at this stadium. There is always a big crowd at Cork City matches and it's clearly one of the most followed teams in the country. The stadium itself has four stands, one behind each goal stretching from corner flag to corner flag and then that similarly on either side of the pitch. You could have between 3,000-5,000 at any one match here. During games there is hot food vans set up selling usual hot food like burgers, chicken, chips, etc. There is also a club shop selling club memorabilia and accessories as well as two regular shop stands selling soft drinks and sweets foods. No alcohol is served in the stadium and smoking areas are designated in multiple area around the stadium.
