  I also used to be a good customer of Currys but after today's lack of customer service, I will never go there again. Having decided to purchase a particular condenser tumble dryer with a lovely assistant called Katlyn yesterday, I returned today with my husband as organised. We were told that Kaylyn was on a break but that this lady would look after us. She then proceeded to tell us that the machine was unavailable at store and we must pay 20 euro for delivery. I said we have a jeep and would collect it ourselves, she said no, you must pay 20 euro for delivery and did we want store insurance as appliance had only one year parts and labour. I pointed out that we hadn't a tumble dryer bought to insure! Having felt that we were not being listened to, we left. Went to Fitzgerald's Electrical Limerick, was told that the appliance actually had a further NINE years parts insurance. We bought it from the them as they made us feel that we could get customer back up there.

  I have always had a great opinion of Curry's and have spoken highly of them in the past, but today changed that. Where before I have always encountered extremely helpful and lovely people who helped me when buying a phone, a computer, and most recently, and tablet, today at the Team Knowhow desk I was basically dismissed without any help in fixing my problematic tablet. No opinions, no offers to actually turn it on and look at it. Just "try turning into basic factory settings." I was so shocked, I left without even thinking to question this behaviour but am now angry and disappointed.

  Sales and services awesome..sales team are so polite and helpful. great customer service. I would buy no we're else.
