  Meal was nice (chicken curry) and we'll presented. Desert I had apple pie and the apple was nice but the pastry a bit chewy and the ice cream was too cold and icy (always associated with poor quality ice cream). Place was nice, quite as it was Monday night and off season so happy with the experience.

  Excellent food friendly and helpful staff very comfortable surrondings very relaxing excellent decor.

  Had a carvery dinner which was excellent value and good sized potions. Proper country food served in a clean comfortable environment. Place had a working lunch feel with probably a lot of regular locals. Always a good sign.

  Very nice atmosphere. Staff helpful and friendly. Food excellent but just one criticism. The food not hot enough.

  Lovely cosy hotel with friendly staff and food is lovely wheather its carvery or off the evening menu. Great place for kids as they provide crayons and paper menus to keep them busy.
