  Country House par excellence, cheerful staff, delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, very comfortable rooms and lovely walks around the estate. Definitely will be back.

  Recently partook in a fabulous afternoon tea here with my mum and sister. Lovely setting and all homemade produce in the afternoon tea, made it amazing. We were all very impressed.

  The most amazing weekend away. Staff incredibly friendly and professional. The food was out of this world

  I expected more of the food, salad starter was dry without dressing and our luch lasted an extra hour due to the length of time people were chewing the beef. No idea why that Yorkshire pudding sat naked on the side of my plate. Desert was delicious even though it looked nothing like an apple tart. Chef has a serious case of 'I know best' (or was away for the day). Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and grounds. On the cold day that we visited, the hotel was very cosy.
