::My ancestors come from Ireland, and their name is also Egan. I have a sister named Dana and a brother named Patrick. My sister came to Ireland with her son Renney, and stopped in at the Egan pub. Might of thought this was the pub, do you remember, The owners names were Patrick and Charra. I will send a picture of a sign that might be in your bar.
