  Policy requires a credit card for renting when using an international driving license. Prebooked and prepaid booking got declined despite having a Master Card (credit card)

  Awful. Myself and 2 people before us were turned away for a “lack of credit card” due to having an international license. Despite having a German credit card. Automated system failed to recognise this. We payed before hand. Useless.

  Didn't even get as far as hiring a car! Dealt with a very snotty lady on the phone. If I knew the answers to the questions I was asking I would not have rang but clearly she was not in an explaining mood. You also need to pay by card they do not except cash. You need a pay slip and if your booking on line you need a letter from your employer?? My husband does work and has been working for the 30 years and why should we have to give a Hire van place a pay slip. These terms are not outlined clearly enough in my opinion on their website. Also they should take a serious look at who is handling their phone calls no CUSTOMER SKILLS whatsoever. Will not be recommending them at all bad sign when you have only booked it and with in ten minutes have cancelled and are writing a review.

  Reserved a car MONTHS in advance for a road trip across Ireland and they didn't have it the day we arrived- messing up our plans to travel and didn't know or have any idea when the car would arrive. I'd avoid the hassle if I were you.
