  The lounge is the best thing about Etihad.They now however make it harder and harder for frequent flyers to access. I have been Etihad Gold Guest for a number of years, now Silver I have to pay €50 for lounge access, and as Gold Guest you can only access second rate lounge in AD. Etihad do not appreciate loyalty. When they came to Dublin first they were good to frequent flyers but no more. Etihad have fallen of late and the half full planes confirm that the Irish have copped on are are moving to the other Airlines now flying East out of Dublin

  Folks, be careful. You can take only 7 kilos in your carry on. No flexibility at all. They will treat you worse than a low cost airlines. If your carry on is slightly overweight, without asking you will be quickly asked to pay a check in bag fee. I suppose keeping the carry on at 7 is a way to push for the check-in bag fee. Even the most notorious low cost airlines don't go that far. Will try to avoid Etihad.

  Very nice lounge with all what you need to get prepared for your flight.: shower room, toilet, food, beverages (including alcohol) and nice staff. Note however that opening hours are limited: the lounge is only open only 3 hours before the two daily flights going to AUH.

  Check- in staff so unhelpful and rude to my Wife in Dublin today

  Lots of walking from the plane to connecting flight/destination. Only food cart here at the gate doesn't take credit cards and I don't want to exchange money just for my layover here. At least I found an outlet to charge my phone!
