  Not a reccomended place to go very unprofesional team dont seem to work as a team together i was outside waiting on work and there shouting at each other not knowing there jobs. Ended up taking car bk as they didnt know how to fix the problem it went in with. And excuse givin to me was youll have to take elsewhere so i did and the next place fixed it after good layout of what was wrong given to me in detail

  Had oil change on my Clio back in 2016. Staff was nice. The garage guy took very long time to change the oil. Over an hour and i was told to go away and come back again later on. A week after driving the car it started to give knocking sounds from the engine and refused to accelerate. Took it to another garage who confirmed the engine was gone and to repair it would cost 500-2000€. So the best option was to scrap it. I went back to First Stop again to check if they could fix the problem which they could by changing few things here and there. Went back to the other garage to confirm if those changes that First Stop recommended would help solve the problem. The other garage guy just laughed and said "no these changes will not fix the problem at all" I was sad but at the time i had to rely on that it was just a coincidence that the engine just collapsed. It was an old car after all. But then again why would it start to die just after the oil change. I have been thinking a lot over this since then and now i am pretty sure that the new oil my Clio got must have been of very poor quality. I have earlier done oil changes at Halfords in Navan for my both Laguna and Clio and the cars has just felt better in driving afterwards. I felt it was my responsibility to finally give review so that this is noted. All in all my experience of First Stop has been that they are ok when it comes to minor harmless fixes though the oil change has scared me a bit. I have tried many different garages and with most of them i have NOT been satisfied. It's a mess when it comes to car repairs and finding a good garage so i would like to leave my recommendation for few best ones i have had good experience of during the years in my opinion: - Atlas (expensive, good, professional, reliable and fast service) - Flemings Garage (normal prices, good, professional, and reliable service) - Halfords (minor fixes and fill ups, good, fast and reliable service) Thanks for reading so far. ;-)

  they snaped my antitheft nut locker,ordered a new one and got to a different place to change the tyres
