  Very friendly host. Walking distance to a nice pub. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

  Joan is very accomodating, we had a really lovely room. The little village is a short walk away & you can get most basics you might need. There are also some very fine eateries close handy. This venue is well placed for visits to the Comenara & Arran islands

  Joan was an absolutely lovely host for our stay. She made us feel very comfortable in the B&B, the facilities were excellent and very good value. The breakfast was brilliant too! If you're staying outside Galway, I'd highly recommend Freeport House!

  Joan was an excellent host! I really enjoyed being so close to the water. We had a great view of the sea from our bedroom. The B & B was very clean and I really enjoyed her breakfast. She had a coffee press which was a huge bonus! I got a chance to chat with her in the morning and she was very friendly and warm.

  Very warm welcome from Joan, we had a bright airy room spotless room, with a beautiful view of Barna Harbour and Galway bay. Great base for visiting my daughter in the gaelteacht. Lovely restaurants in Barna and only a short drive, bus or taxi into Galway City.
