Excellent for breakfast lunch (especially on Sunday) and Evening Meal. Also as an occasional Golfer the back 9 is most beautiful on a sunny day!

On a dry Sunny day with very little wind you time to take in a very fine golf course that has received a lot of thought, in it's layout, and the care it has received. On this occasion it merits five stars. Take to this course on a windy day and you will have to use every bit of golf skill at your disposal just to survive this test. If you play well then you deserve five stars for your skill and effort, but something hard earned is better enjoyed. The restaurant and club house are top notch and don't let a special golf course down in any way.

Wow! What a jewel, local hero, Cristy O'Connor, famous golfer, originally from the Salthill area in Galway City, developed this property and it's stunning. Near Oranmore Castle and Village it can be accessed very easily and has ample free parking outside. Even if your not dining or golfing it's great for just a stroll to take-in the beautiful Atlantic coastline. Staff are friendly & attentive and the Chef greets you on entering the lounge area. Fast table service and a delicious menu it was a welcome treat. Prices are very reasonable for the beautiful meals served. Hotel is closed for now but I look forward to staying there some day and will definitely be back for a game of golf.

Great course for golfers capable of playing this standard of course. Very exposed and can be windy. Great views of Galway Bay.
