::I love Glendalough. I was brought there by my parents almost seventy years ago and it still has a special place in my heart. It is a a very tranquil place. I have claimed the mountains around the locks especially the Spink it is so beautiful, tranquil and relaxing.

::If you're looking for a casual place with home cooked food and baked goods, this is the place! Perfect for a little pit stop after a hike or bike ride. The cafe is located within a deli/store. We had the potato and leek soup which was delicious. We also had one of their sandwiches and a selection of salads, and ended it off with a fluffy scone! The staff are incredibly nice and friendly. Thanks for the hospitality ladies!!
