  Lovely hotel. Nice bar. The staff accommodated me with tea and some nice biscuits. Bubbly and friendly and fair price for the great service and hospitality.

  Train station across the road from the hotel. Lovely town to visit. Love the hotel.

  The Glenroyal is an excellent gym - two good pools. There is a children’s pool - after 7pm the children leave. There are plenty of machines and even at the busiest of times you aren’t waiting for long. I initially had a couple’s membership but swapped this for individual and whilst it’s not cheap it’s cheaper than Carlton House and a better gym than Carlton House.

  Was staying in hotel for 2 nights as I was attending a course there, in mid-December 2017. My first time there but didn't get to use spa/leisure facilities although they looked fabulous. The rooms for the course were excellent. Among the best I have been in. Coffee breaks arrived bang on time. Very professional. Although building/renovation work was going on I was never really conscious of it.
