  Food is tasty portions are generous and good value for money...be careful tho if ordering a pint of coke...6.60 mental...staff really nice...

  We went for dinner on Sunday night and had booked in advance. Both the bar and restaurant areas were under staffed, we were the only people at the bar looking to get a drink and it took 5 mins to find a barman. There are a couple of bars and we were in the main restaurant bar. The restaurant serving staff were clearly under pressure and it took a lot longer than it should have done to place orders etc. This said once we got staff they were very pleasant. We had a selection of things, none of which were special but fine. My duck starter hardly had any duck in it. My burger was overcooked, possibly precooked, dry and I didn't bother to finish it. Others liked their steaks with mixed reports on the fish and chips. They've spent a lot of money to create an Irish theme pub that probably suits family's with young children who need somewhere to go but doesn't offer anything special either in portion size or food interest if you like your food. We'll probably give it another go but don't go expecting anything special on the food front. On the positive they have a good drinks selection.

  Two lone children playing noisily were the only two people in the "restaurant" so we opted to eat in the bar. Service took forever. We hungrily watched the waitress chat to a regular for ages as we waited to order our food. Glassware was dirty. Food was only okay and overpriced for the quality.

  Great food and atmosphere. Relaxed dining but with a fine finish. More menu items would be a great addition for the full 5 stars.

  Nice atmospheric restaurant, great service and decent food. Let down by slighty limited menu. Also vegetarian options not great on menu at least although I believe they have off menu option
