The tour begins with the host welcoming you to his family home, he will seat you and begin to recount the history of the house, farm and his family. Very personal, engaging and fascinating to hear. He will then take you on a tour of a much more modern and bigger facility where he has hundreds of unique historical artifacts. It all ends with some tea and scones. This is a quirky, unique opportunity to experience the history of Mayo first hand. Not to be missed if you're interested in something different that encourages some thinking and introspection. We loved it.

After visiting Mayo for many years we finally got around to visiting Hennigan's Heritage centre and it was fantastic! Tom is very welcoming and an excellent guide who really brings the stories to life. It was a fascinating insight into life in Mayo in years gone by and I will definitely be recommending a trip to Tom's to friends and family.
